Students in the Widefield area attend public schools in the Widefield School District.  There are nine elementary schools, three junior high schools, three high schools, one charter school and one preschool in the district.  The district has an enrollment of over 8,600 students.  The district's goal is to provide its students with the most up-to-date and relevant education in a safe and friendly learning environment.
